I would like to hear your experience using your mod manager, regardless of whether you use NMM, Vortex or the other alternatives. Suffice to say, I am experiencing the "full" modding experience, all the while devoid of running into problems that I believe are "specific" to using NMM. All these mods downloaded having used NMM (Some manual, but 95% is using NMM).

I use tool and have some tools linked to my NMM such as Bodyslider, FNIS then replacing it with Project Nemisis, Loot, HavokBehaviorPostProcess and PoserDataGen, not all of these are linked to NMM, but I have no issues with that. I would like to know more specifically what kinds of problems come with using NMM. I have consistently read in forums in LL and Steam, that NMM is inferior due to having a host of problems, that Vortex does not suffer from. I have personally been using NMM all these years, even when switching to special edition from Oldrim.

I have always wondered what the main difference and experience was using Vortex, compared to Nexus Mod Manager.Įveryone I've ever met modding using Vortex swears by it, and would generally say that they can't ever imagine going back to using NMM.
